Coogee Apartments, NSW


4-8 Edgecumbe Avenue Coogee – Apartment 4 and 18 situated two streets back from Coogee Beach. The apartments are less than 1.5 km from the main beach, the surf life saving club, and the historic Wylie's Baths. Leave the car behind and take a pleasant 20-minute stroll to playgrounds for the kids, right at the beach.  However, as the apartments are located overlooking Coogee Beach the walk back is uphill.

Your stay at Coogee is sure to please, as there is easy access to public transport that provides a stress free ride to places of interest and fine dining for you and, the kids.  All this is within easy reach of the Sydney CBD, Museums, Art Galleries and Taronga Zoo.


There are two apartments available for let.  Apartment 18, on the upper level (third floor - no lifts), is a two-bedroom ensuite that has a queen size bed in the main and the second is a double, the lounge has a queen size pull out sofa.  This apartment is suitable for one person, a couple with a small family or a small group.  Apartment 4 on the lower level (second floor) is also two-bedroom ensuite, more suited to a family with a couple of kids or a group who are happy to share.  It has a queen size bed in the main bedroom, the second bedroom has one double bunk bed, and a single bed, the lounge has a queen size pull out sofa.  This great apartment can accommodate up to a maximum of six people.  All bedding and towels are provided but you will need to supply your own toiletries and hair dryer.  WiFi is not provided.

The finishes to both apartments are of a high standard.  The apartments have a serene marine feel, are finely furnished with the modern conveniences that you could and should expect from properties of this standard.  The lounge and meals area is a delight to have the family gathering, and the kitchen and laundry are fully functional with all you will need. For those that would like to relax, there is a great BBQ area and a pool on site (please read the information in the apartment).

Parking for one car per unit in the underground car park is included and a remote will be issued with your keys.

The apartments are located within a residential apartment complex and, as such, guests are requested to be mindful of the peaceful amenity desired by other occupants.

Room & Rates

These apartments may be let on a minimum TWO night stay or weekly basis:

Rates From 1 July 2018

For Army members:
$185.00 nightly; and
$1,110.00 for 7 nights

For all other eligible members:
$205.00 nightly; and
$1,230.00 for 7 nights

In recognition of the demand for holiday properties in areas such as Coogee, weekly stays will be limited to a single booking (not back to back).  All bookings will require a deposit payable in advance. The deposit will be fifty percent of the total cost of your occupation and it must be paid directly to the managing agent at the time of making a booking.

Progressive payments of balances outstanding before your occupancy may be made to the managing agent during normal business hours.

Full payment must be made before occupancy commences.

Cancellation of bookings must be made direct to the management agent and there may be a $50 fee charged.  The management agent is not responsible to provide a refund on cancellation; the AAF Company can only do this.  Refund request made outside a four-week period of a confirmed booking may be made.

Arrivals on the day are to be from 2:00pm on wards.  Departures required by 10:00am.

Members should aim to arrive during 'working hours' for picking up keys and signing paperwork from Randwick. Confirming arrangements when booking is recommended.

The following details are required for all booking requests:

Your will be required to verify your eligibility by providing your PMKeys Number; rank; full name and Unit or workplace details for serving ADF and Defence civilians.  Retired ADF members are required to provide proof of service and or a current retired ADF superannuants identity number.  Defence Contractors and Emergency Services are required to provide their employment details.

To maintain the integrity of the booking system, your details may be verified at the time of check-in.  Any concerns should be addressed to the AAF Company Secretariat and not taken up with the booking staff.

Confirmation of Bookings, subject to vacancies, will be given:

  • Serving Army - 12 months in advance
  • All others - 6 months in advance
